Bitcoin Price Stable Heading into Weekend

After trading above $6,100 earlier in the week, bitcoin prices have stabilized somewhat in the $5,700-$5,900 range over the last few days.  The fate of bitcoin gold remains up in the air, while bitcoin cash prices have risen slightly to approximately $380 today.

The upcoming segwit2x fork and its accompanying drama may have something to do with a lack of movement in bitcoin price.  Investors are mixed on how the fork will be handled, and many remain cautious about the effects on bitcoin pricing in the near future.
