Bill to ban CBDC passed in US House Financial Services Committee​

The CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act has been passed in the US House Financial Services Committee. On September 20, the author and representative of this bill, Tom Emmer, said that this CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act has been passed by the committee and has been favorably reported on the floor of the House. Also, this bill will now have to face the vote of Congress next time. Emmer has informed that this bill has already got the support of 60 members of Congress. Actually, the goal of introducing this bill is to prevent Unelected Bureaucrats in Washington from issuing Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
