EToro and the Premier League establish agreement paid with bitcoins

One of the largest exchange platforms in the United Kingdom, eToro, recently announced an advertising agreement with seven members of the Premier League football that will be paid with bitcoins (BTC).


As part of the agreement, the company will have greater exposure through a variety of marketing tools such as LED boards, tickets, digital rights and player access.


Also, eToro announced that it will also be partnering with other clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Brighton & Hove Albion, Cardiff City and finally Leicester City, in addition to the initial agreement with Newcastle United.


Regarding the above, Dale Aitchison, the head of commercial relations for Newcastle United, commented that:


We are delighted to welcome eToro to our family of high profile business partners. This is a leading player in an emerging industry and we hope to explore opportunities in the cryptocurrency sector and its backup technology, the blockchain.
