Crypto Donations in Philanthropy on the Rise, Says Giving Block Report

According to a recent report by Giving Block, there has been a significant increase in cryptocurrency donations within the philanthropic sector.​

The Giving Block, a platform that facilitates crypto donations, has released its annual report titled "Crypto Philanthropy Data, Trends & Predictions," revealing the increasing trend of cryptocurrency donations in the philanthropic sector. The report highlights that USD Coin (USDC) accounted for 44% of crypto donations, followed by Ethereum (ETH) at 24% and Bitcoin (BTC) at 17% on its charity platform in the past year.

The platform has received over $125 million in crypto donations to date, with a projected growth of $1 billion by August 2027, $5 billion by June 2031, and surpassing the $10 billion mark in November 2032.

The report also provides insights into the world of crypto donations and highlights the growing importance of cryptocurrencies in the charitable sector. The Giving Block's analysis shows that BTC may reach $100,000 by September 2026 and $250,000 by October 2029.
