LayerZero Token Causes Ethereum Protocol Controversy
LayerZero, a new token, got criticism from nine Ethereum protocols. According to them, they claim that the LayerZero token is a "vendor-locked proprietary standard" that restricts token issuer freedom.This token, Wrapped Staked Ether (wstETH), was launched on BNB Chain, Avalanche, and Scroll without approval from the Lido DAO. LayerZero said that the DAO approved it, leading to controversy.
