Texas has over 28% of Bitcoin hashing power
According to the latest hashrate map from
crypto mining service provider Foundry USA, the state of Texas accounts for more than 28% of all Bitcoin hashing power in the USA. The newly updated map shows Texas with 28.5% of the entire country's Bitcoin hashrate, while Georgia claims 9.64%, New York claims 8.75%, and New Hampshire claims 5.33%. Bitcoin's hash rate measures how fast a mining machine works when trying to calculate a legal block hash. On this, Foundry has said that overall by July 2023, the global hashrate of
Bitcoin had reached 400 exahash per second, which is almost double as compared to 2021.
