Am I Being Scammed?

Hello,

I’m a newbie to the whole cryptocurrency data mining. I was doing some research on cloud mining for bitcoins and I received a brochure from a company called “Perla Cloud Mining”.



I can’t find out much information about them. Has anyone heard of them?

On the surface, I believe everything about their info says “SCAM.” Anything that promises consistent high returns immediately gets put into my Avoid list. Almost all Ponzi scams start with guaranteed returns. Anything with an affiliate referral system is typically a Ponzi scheme.

Always ask yourself this: If they can make ridiculously high returns on their investments, why do they need my money? Compound interest at the levels they report would make them billionaires in a few months.

My vote is therefore Scam and Stay Away.

Additional information from simple web searches reveals quite a few complaints about Perla and its owners and founders. Fraud charges, cash flow problems, lawsuits and liens for back taxes.
